Dear Friends,
After eight years with New York City Ballet, then Zurich Opera Ballet, Los Angeles Ballet and finally Dallas Ballet with Flemming Flindt, it has been great to be in Oklahoma City with the freedom to create what would be financially difficult in other surroundings. I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to experiment and create a body of work that is diverse and very attractive to both dancers and audiences alike.
I have created 36 ballets including full-length works such as Romeo and Juliet, The Three Musketeers, of course The Nutcracker, Dracula, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Alice in Wonderland and Svengali. I have worked with Stewart Copeland, Grammy Award winning composer and founder/drummer of the rock group THE POLICE on the commission and reprise of our 1994 collaboration PREY. I also created a work with performance artist Denny Dent painting onstage while our company danced during his creation. DVDs are available of all of my ballets if you are interested in presenting any of them.
I have worked extensively in every aspect of a professional ballet company and school including but not limited to, public relations and marketing, special events, development, budget and finance, Trustee development and long range planning. So I may be able to assist you with a number of challenges you experience from season to season.
